Excellent service from the owners. Typical and seasonal dishes. Better prices than the restaurant, located in the center of Tlaxcala. Highly recommended. In the photos: Maguey worm taco with red molcajete sauce. And the restaurant's menu. I hope you like it. Greetings from Tlaxcala!!!

The place is Dona Hono's house, so when you arrive at first you wonder if it is there or not, but when you enter you already find the tables and so on. The attention is ten, Mrs. Honorina serves and cooks personally. And the seasoning, well, needless to say, everything was delicious. The prices are more than fair because the portions are also generous. They do take a little time to serve the dishes but it is totally understandable taking into account that it is a family business and they cook what you order immediately.

An exceptional place!!! The mole is the most delicious we've ever tried. The Dona Ganadora is also a truly award-winning dessert. Dona Honorina is a sweetheart.

The food was delicious. I loved the gorditas, the purslane, the mole, and the donut. The coffee and pulque were also delicious.

I went because it caught my attention because it's the restaurant of the Masterchef winner. The place is somewhat hidden, and to get there, you have to drive down a short stretch of dirt road. However, the scenery, including the Atlanga Lagoon, is beautiful, and the experience is totally worth it. The restaurant is located in her home. The lady welcomes you warmly, and the service is first-rate. The dishes take a while because they're freshly prepared, but they're truly exquisite. The mole is delicious. The winning donut is also delicious! The winning gordita is also delicious, especially the salsas, for example, another molcajete one she offered us, which was scrumptious. The tortillas are handmade, and the prices are affordable for the quality of the food. I definitely recommend it to everyone and will return.

The seasoning is excellent; ask for the daily recommendation before looking at the menu. The mole is their specialty, excellent, 100% recommended. A bit out of the way, but well worth it, and the prices aren't that expensive, not that cheap. Honorina is a very nice person.
